Margaret Lansink's work revolves around aesthetic, poetic and minimalist images that carry a powerful emotional message. Her use of intuitive photography illustrates this approach, creating images that offer an open and sincere reflection of her emotions, doubts, reflections or difficulties. Produced as “self-portraits” in the broadest sense, they reveal her inner emotions at a precise moment, space and interaction.
The Dutch artist uses a variety of analog techniques, experiments collage, paint, gold leaf and charcoal, as well as older darkroom technologies such as liquid light and platinum-palladium prints. The exhibition will feature works on paper as well as sculptures, presented for the first time in Paris.
